    Prices of Condition Reporting:

    £200 covers up to 10 circuits (fuses at the main fuse board i.e. DB1; Distribution Board 1) with up to 2 RCDs.

    Extra fuse boards i.e. DB2, DB3, circuits/fuses are a further +£18 each. 

    Price of Certificate for:

    Major works ( i.e. and a new circuit, etc ) £80

    Minor works ( alteration or addition, i.e. spur from a circuit, extend a circuit, add to a circuit, etc ) £40 for each one.

    Original Certificates and re-issues will not be issued until cleared funds are received first.

    Regular testing the condition of your circuits and earthing requirements is a vital part of your household maintenance to reduce the risk of having a sudden or preventable breakdown of your electrical system.

    Testing and inspection of the condition of the full fixed wire electrical circuits and fuse boards every 5 years is the recommendation for domestic households. Older installations and wiring may require more frequent condition reports to be carried out but is at the discretion of the registered inspector.

    PAT testing of portable electrical appliances is recommend to be carried out every year in holiday lets and rental properties.Domestic households should be every 2 years.

    Original Certificates and re-issues will not be issued until cleared funds are received first.

    If you lose your certificate: Re-issue of your lost certificate is £50 if within 1 year of original. After 1 year certificates/documentation is sent away for archiving in storage. If you require retrieval of archived paperwork (which may take 10 days) the cost to you for this service is £95. Alternatively a new certificate can be carried out at the prices shown above for new certificates, if after 2 years from original.
